Youth Council Group Description: Youth Council appointed by Session Group Note: The Youth Council will have the standing of a "Board" and be governed by such as defined by section 13.01 of the Constitution of the Church. This Council will direct the youth program of the Church; setting programs; selecting material; and soliciting teachers/leaders. The youth program meaning "Youth 0-18 yrs of age" including morning and evening, Sunday and other scheduled activities with a special emphasis on Church School and Sunday Evening activities, and make provisions for the care of youth, when needed, at all functions of the Church. All questions; comments; changes etc. should be first directed to the Youth Council and then acted upon as necessary. Appointees shall serve for a period of one year subject to re- appointment and coincide with the Christian Education Year. The Christian Education Year runs from September 1st to August 31st. Any appointee who wishes to resign this council shall make their resignation known to the session and another appointee will be selected to fill the position vacated by the resignation. This council shall have the liberty to select it's own meeting times as necessary to complete the work assigned to them. Pastor is to be notified of Council meetings and a schedule of planned youth activities are to be given to the Church office as soon as possible.
