C.P.Y.F Ministry Statement

Cumberland Presbyterian Youth Fellowship is comprised of youth whose Parents or Guardians
are members of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg
and their invited friends.   C.P.Y.F.  exist to assist in nurturing our young people in the Christian faith.

"Acts 2:39
"For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

To be young is one of the most exciting, times of life. It can also be one of the most challenging times of life.
It is a time of learning, discovering, changing, growing, experiencing and shaping.   It is a time to celebrate the person we are and the person we shall become.
F.C.P.C. seeks to help our youth develop in body, mind and soul.

Psalm 139:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.“

The “Whole Person” is our goal of ministry.
We believe that Holy and Whole are synonyms and that God is a Holy God.
We believe that life is best experienced by keeping our covenant with God.
And,  that “The Chief End of Man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever” (Westminster Confession of Faith).

“John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
